Travel to Tampa By Rail
Tampa Union Station is located in North Nebraska Avenue. It was donated to the city by a freight company called CSX which will be restored by non-profit group with grant funds from Florida Department of Transport. This historic railway station was designed by well known architect J.F. Lenity in 1912. It was reopened and restored on May 30, 1998. Union Station is located on the National Register of Historic Places celebrated its anniversary in 2012. It is the primary Amtrak station in Tampa Bay.
Travel to Tampa by Sea
Tampa has one of the most well developed cruise itinerary in the world. Caribbean and Latin American nations are closely linked to Tampa Bay. Recently, the Garrison Seaport Center’s Cruise Terminal 2 has undergone renovation doubling the size. This includes multiple lane embarkation and disembarkation area, multiple deck parking garage, and improved amenities and facilities.
